A video shared on X shows people stealing hats after the fatal shooting of the influential conservative commentator Charlie Kirk on the campus of Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
The video, shared by @suxiequite on TikTok and later reposted to X, shows a person taking hats from a merchandise table, as people off camera say, “Grab me a hat,” before security intervenes and removes them from the area.
After they removed Charlie Kirk from the scene in Utah, some guy walked over to the crime scene and stole some hats. Some other guys asked him to get hats for them too.
Law enforcement/security was furious.

Kirk, 31, was the founder of the right-leaning youth organization Turning Point USA, and an ally of President Donald Trump. He was delivering a speech under a campus tent in Orem, Utah, when he was struck in the neck by a single gunshot. Kirk was rushed to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
This is a developing story. More to follow.
