Brody Jenner shut down a new report about his half-sister Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi‘s relationship.
The Daily Mail posted an article on Thursday, August 27, claiming Kendall’s family had concerns about Elordi, 29, because he was “not contributing” financially to their getaways and outings.
Brody, 43, slammed the report, replying via an Instagram comment on Monday, August 31, “I can confirm that this is clickbait,” with a thumbs-down emoji.
Kendall, 30, and Elordi were originally linked in April after being friends for years.
“They have known each other socially for years now and have hung out in similar circles, but it became romantic recently,” a source exclusively told Us at the time, adding that Kendall thought the actor was “a really cool and down-to-earth guy.”
The insider noted that the pair are “casually seeing each other.”
“[Kendall] likes spending time with him when it works, but she’s not trying to force a relationship,” the source added. “It’s very much a ‘have fun when they’re in the same place’ situation. Neither of them wants anything serious right now.”
At the time, the source mentioned Kendall being more open to dating an actor because of her sister Kylie Jenner, who is in a relationship with Timothée Chalamet.
“It has been fun for Kylie and Kendall to hang out with Timothée and Jacob together because they are all friendly and have a lot of common ground,” the insider told Us. “It doesn’t happen often, but it has been fun for the four of them.”
Kendall was linked to Devin Booker and Bad Bunny before finding love with Elordi. The reality star has previously been candid about her timeline for starting a family.
“I go in and out of phases [of having baby fever],” she told E! News in May 2019. “Some days, I’ll be there and I’ll be like, ‘[Oh, my God], I think it’s happening. I think I have the fever.’”
Kendall later joked during a 2022 episode of The Kardashians that her many nieces and nephews sometimes act as “massive birth control” for her. “Just because it is a lot,” she said of pregnancy.
More recently, Kendall defended her decision to not rush into motherhood.
“When I was young, I used to say that by 27, I’d love to have kids,” she shared in a 2024 interview with Vogue. “Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom.”
