Chrishell Stause is stepping out publicly for the first time since she announced her split from G Flip last week.

The Selling Sunset alum, 45, was photographed walking her dog Peace in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 4, per People. Stause — who seemed to have a downcast expression — wore a long tan jacket over a striped white tee, black sweatpants and pink Givenchy sandals.

Her brief outing comes just over a week after she shared via an October 26 Instagram video that she and G Flip (real name Georgia Claire Flipo) were no longer together. (It was subsequently reported by TMZ that the former couple were allegedly not legally married despite having a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in 2023.)

“I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys,” Stause confirmed while fighting back tears. “G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other. That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person.”

Stause claimed that she did not “have all the information or the reason” for the breakdown of her relationship at the time.

“I’m sure, just like always, with time, you get the lessons you’re meant to get, and I know that will happen, and I’m gonna heal, and everything’s gonna be fine,” she stressed. “I’m definitely never doing this again, but I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that.”

However, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant admitted that she felt like “a little bit of a failure” because her second marriage was breaking up. (Stause was married to Tracker star Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021. Hartley subsequently married Jane the Virgin actress Sofia Pernas later in 2021.)

“There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself, so I just have to kind of heal and figure this out,” she noted. “It’s hard. It’s painful. I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss, or maybe I don’t miss.”

Less than two hours later, G Flip released their own statement to confirm that they were “no longer together” with Stause.

“I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply,” they wrote via Instagram on October 26. “My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now and I’m not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”

Stause has received public support from her Selling Sunset costars — including ex Jason Oppenheim and Bre Tiesi — in the days since she announced her split from G Flip.

“I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love,” Oppenheim, 49, commented under Stause’s breakup announcement. “You’re both beautiful people and sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed.”

He added, “There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process. But please know that you’re very loved and I’m always there for you no matter what.”

Stause and G Flip originally got together in early 2022, several months after hitting it off at a Halloween party. They went public with their relationship at the Selling Sunset season 5 reunion taping that May.
