WWE superstar Jacob Fatu has a dream opponent in mind, and it’s a legendary Hall of Famer who currently works for another promotion. In a new interview, the “Samoan Werewolf” named current TNA World Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy as the one legend he hopes to face before he retires.

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Fatu was asked if there were any matchups he wanted that he hasn’t had yet. He was quick to name “The Charismatic Enigma.”

A WWE Dream Match With Jeff Hardy

While Jacob Fatu was respectful of the entire WWE roster, he singled out Jeff Hardy as a dream opponent. The admiration was clear in his voice.

“Jeff Hardy, man,” Fatu said (H/T: WrestlingNews.co). “I want to have a match with Jeff. Man, one of the dopest. Man, yeah. I mean, Jeff.”

Jacob Fatu is one of the fastest-rising stars in WWE. Before signing with the company, he established himself as one of the most dominant champions in the world during a legendary, multi-year reign as the MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

A real-life member of the iconic Anoa’i wrestling dynasty, he has made an immediate impact in WWE, winning the United States Championship and becoming a top babyface on the SmackDown brand. A match against a legend of Hardy’s caliber would be another major step in his ascent to superstardom.

The Charismatic Enigma

Jeff Hardy is one of the most beloved and decorated superstars in wrestling history. A multi-time WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, he is most famous for his incredible, death-defying, high-flying style. Alongside his brother Matt, he revolutionized tag team wrestling in the iconic Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches of the Attitude Era.

After a run in AEW, Jeff and Matt Hardy are now back in TNA Wrestling, where they are the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions.
