Katie Holmes is sharing her adoration for boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky on his birthday.
“Happy Birthday to the best of the best…❤️ @jasonbardyarmosky,” the Dawson’s Creek alum, 47, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, September 1. Her sweet words were accompanied by a carousel of images that captured the couple carrying two microphones in what appeared to be a celebratory karaoke session.
Another shot showed a dimmed room lit up by candles placed atop a birthday cake.
The post was shared by the artist, 38, via his own Instagram account.
Two hours later, Holmes shared an Instagram Story that showed more of Yarmosky’s birthday celebrations. In a clip, the actress and her man are seated at a table before Yarmosky blows out the cake’s candles. To cheering applause, Yarmosky then looks over to a grinning Holmes before she hugs him and he plants a kiss on her head.
The social media PDA comes after Yarmosky recently went Instagram official with his romance with Holmes. In a snap shared via his Stories, Holmes stood solo while rocking a chic ivory two-piece ensemble with a sleeveless, fitted top and matching midi skirt.
The pair were first linked in July when they were photographed holding hands while attending a screening of The Invite hosted by The Cinema Society at New York City’s East Hampton Regal UA.
They were seen together again later that month while leaving Sienna Spiro’s private performance as part of NYC’s Soho Sessions concert series. Earlier in the evening, the duo were reportedly seen kissing and embracing each other as they watched the concert.
New York is home to both Holmes and Yarmosky, who has built a name for himself through paintings and drawings after graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2010. According to his website, his work is based on themes of aging, time and memory and has appeared in multiple museums across the country, including the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
Holmes’ daughter, Suri Cruise, is also flourishing within the world of artistic expression. Suri, 20, whom Holmes shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise, was confirmed within the upcoming cast of Midsummer!, a modern-day take on William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in July.
According to a report by Page Six at the time, Suri, a student at Carnegie Mellon University, is set to perform alongside classmates at the Trust Arts Education Center’s Peirce Studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As for Holmes’ artistic pursuits, she recently reunited with former Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson to film Happy Hours, a rom-com trilogy written and directed by Holmes.
