Korea’s leading green energy company, Unlimited Value Creation (UVC), is progressing preparations to begin green hydrogen production in India.Â
On April 22, UVC signed a $3 billion joint venture agreement with India’s energy giant, ACME Group, for green energy projects during a ceremony in UAE.
A representative from Korea’s Ministry of Environment attended, pledging support for advancing green energy cooperation. Through this venture, UVC and ACME will collaborate on constructing green hydrogen plants in India.Â
UVC plans to import green hydrogen produced by ACME into Korea, with annual imports expected to reach 200,000 tons.Â
UVC is also working with India’s Welspun Group to develop green energy projects.  In Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin, UVC and Welspun established a joint venture to produce green ammonia using a 1.2 GW solar power facility. This project will produce 200,000 tons annually. Supply agreements for this output have been secured with countries including Korea, Japan, and Germany.
