Evgeni Malkin has helped the Penguins win three Stanley Cups during his long career in Pittsburgh.

Now Malkin will need help getting his Stanley Cup rings back.

KDKA, the CBS affiliate in Pittsburgh, reported Tuesday that the Penguins’ assistant captain was the victim of a home burglary on Saturday. Among the items reported stolen from his Sewickley Heights home: Malkin’s Stanley Cup championship rings from 2009, 2016, and 2017.

Malkin is a cornerstone of the Pittsburgh Penguins, having spent his entire 18-year career with the team. He was drafted second overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut in 2006.

Malkin has been instrumental in the Penguins’ success, including their three Stanley Cup wins. He is known for his exceptional skill, scoring ability, and playmaking, which have made him one of the most prolific scorers in NHL history.

Malkin, 38, is the 48th player in NHL history to score 500 career goals and the second Russian to achieve this milestone after Alex Ovechkin.
