The social venture company ROUTE FINDERS announced that it received the CES Innovation Award in the Accessibility & AgeTech category at CES 2025, the world’s largest ICT convergence exhibition, for its multimedia platform for the visually impaired, EasyPlus.

Held annually in January in Las Vegas, CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and is the largest ICT convergence exhibition in the world. The CES Innovation Award is considered the “highest honor of CES” and is awarded to products worldwide that demonstrate excellence in technology, design, and innovation. ROUTE FINDERS, participating in CES for the first time, achieved the notable accomplishment of winning the Innovation Award, highlighting the global potential of its innovative media platform for the visually impaired.

The award-winning EasyPlus is a smartphone solution designed for the visually impaired. It is a multimedia platform that uses AI technology to remove images, advertisements, and pop-ups that digital marginalized groups may not perceive, extracting only the essential information. The platform is characterized by its intuitive usability and direct touch interface, making it highly convenient. An English version is scheduled for release in the first half of 2025, enabling visually impaired individuals worldwide to access media services with ease.

In preparation for its global launch, ROUTE FINDERS has been accelerating its expansion efforts, recently signing an MOU with LightHouse, the largest association for the visually impaired on the U.S. West Coast, and conducting local testing in the U.S. This Innovation Award win marks an important turning point for ROUTE FINDERS, strengthening its position as an assistive technology startup and demonstrating its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for digitally disadvantaged communities globally.

ROUTE FINDERS CEO Jong-Kook Kim stated, “This award acknowledges our team’s hard work and innovation. We will continue striving to provide better solutions to improve the quality of life for digitally marginalized communities.” He added, “We are honored to receive this award in our first CES appearance, and through EasyPlus, we aim to advance sustainable solutions and create social value. We are planning to expand our business into various multimedia fields to achieve this goal.” He concluded, “I extend my gratitude to all team members, and we remain dedicated to ongoing innovation, pushing forward with even greater ambition.”

The award-winning EasyPlus will be on display at CES 2025 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10, 2025.
