A police operation is underway at Bunnings Newstead after a bomb threat was made against the inner-city store on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called about 8.30am, and the store was evacuated.
Traffic was diverted off Ross Street, from Edmonstone Road to Durong Street, spanning the back end of the building and car park entrance.
A police spokesperson said officers were “conducting an operation” at the store shortly after 10am.
