Despite efforts from police and rescue crews overnight, there’s still no sign of a swimmer who went missing from Trigg yesterday.

An emergency call was made just after 5pm on Tuesday, with a swimmer in distress at The Blue Hole.

The City of Stirling says the area is one of its most dangerous stretches of coastline due to its rips.

Search crews, including water police and helicopters, Surf Life Saving WA and Sea Rescue scoured the water yesterday, but found no sign of the person.

The search will resume at first light this morning.

Police are urging anyone who has not had their loved one return home yesterday, to get in touch.
