A teenage girl is fighting for her life after she was allegedly stabbed during an altercation in Fortitude Valley in inner Brisbane on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Alfred Street in Fortitude Valley about 1.45pm after the girl suffered life-threatening injuries in an altercation involving a number of other teens.
Paramedics rushed the girl to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital as police cordoned off a crime scene on Alfred Street, near the Fortitude Valley train station.
Initial reports suggested the victim was involved in an altercation with a group of girls who ran from the scene.
