Are you one of those “Euphoria” fans who felt all was not okay with the cast members of the hit teen drama? Well, fret no more as Sydney Sweeney is here to remove the doubts.

Sweeney, 28, recently sat down for an interview with Vanity Fair, where she not only set the records straight, but also found it “funny” that people resorted to spinning “narratives.”

Talking to the outlet, the “Anyone But You” actress clarified that the stars’ respective schedules were not responsible for the four year gap between the second and third seasons.

“Euphoria” boasts a star-studded cast, including teen heartthrobs like Jacob Elordi (who plays the character of Nate), Zendaya (Rue Bennett) and Sweeney (Cassie Howard).

Owing to the four-year gap between the seasons, rumors surfaced previously that all is not well between Sweeney and the “Challengers” actress.

However, the “Christy” actress quashed the rumor, and said, “We all grew up together on this show,” before adding, “It’s honestly crazy to watch how much social media and the press spin things.”

She explained that the nature of their contract was such that they had to prioritize HBO whenever shooting commenced, thus quashing the theory that the stars’ individual schedules caused a rift.

“I was in first position to HBO. So the moment they say, ‘Hey, this is the first day of filming,’ I’m legally not allowed to do anything else. So my schedule doesn’t affect the show,” she explained.

The theory regarding the feud between Zendaya and Sweeney intensified when words surfaced that the two actresses allegedly kept low profile around each other during the season three premiere. During that time, an insider even claimed to The Sun, “During the press tour, any interactions between the pair are being kept to a minimum to avoid any awkward encounters on camera.”

Nevertheless, all’s well that ends well. It’s commendable of Sweeney to end the rumors once and for all.
