The New York Yankees gained some momentum toward a much-needed season turnaround by logging a second straight win against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday.

“When I talked to Scott, he told me to just focus on playing baseball and do the best I can every day,” Bellinger said, per Miller. “That’s my goal, so I show up every day and focus on the task at hand.”
As Bellinger continues to do so, the likelihood that he’ll earn a significant long-term contract in the offseason is growing. And if that doesn’t come from the Yankees, he will be able to adapt.
