Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now jump into huge battles in Battlefield 6. That’s welcome news, because Microsoft removed one of CNET’s best games of 2025, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, from the service. Maybe Battlefield 6 and the other games that arrived on the service this month will have what it takes to fill the Clair Obscur-sized hole in my heart.
Xbox Game Pass, a CNET Editors’ Choice award pick, offers a wide selection of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC or mobile device for as little as $10 a month. With a subscription to the higher-tiered Game Pass Ultimate ($23 a month), you can access hundreds of games, including new ones the day they’re released, each month.
Here are all the games Microsoft added to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of October 2026.
Battlefield 6

CNET’s David Lumb called this installment in the popular Battlefield series a “riveting shooter.” It’s full of huge multiplayer battles, close-quarters combat and loads of gunfights and explosions. While most people will gravitate toward multiplayer, there is a single-player campaign if you want a break from the online mayhem.
Valor Mortis

In this first-person soulslike game, you’re a soldier in Napoleon’s army who dies. Not to worry, because you’re back from the dead with a handful of supernatural abilities that you wield in your left hand, like in the almost 20-year-old game BioShock. You’ll use these skills to battle monsters and uncover a conspiracy that could threaten all of humanity.
Bluey’s Happy Snaps

Bluey’s Happy Snaps proves that not every game coming to Game Pass has to be full of action. You’ll unwind and explore Bluey’s world while taking photos in areas familiar to anyone who’s seen the popular children’s show – let’s be honest, this show’s also popular with adults. You can take photos on your own or play with a partner, friend or your kid as you turn in-game moments into fun.
Other games on Game Pass
Those are a few of the games Microsoft brought to Game Pass in October. Here are the rest of the games you can see on the service now.

Games that left Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft also removed nine games from Xbox Game Pass, including the award-winning Clair Obscur. So you’ll have to buy these games separately now if you still want to play them.
