An explosive brand new look at the upcoming John Wick spin-off movie, Ballerina, has been released by Lionsgate, and the film is looking to be action-packed.
Featuring more of Keanu Reeves than we’d seen in the first trailer, which was released last fall, Ballerina‘s new look shows a stand-off between Ana de Armas as Eve and Reeves in his signature role.
Recently, we learned that John Wick 5 was confirmed and may move forward without Keanu Reeves, but the reason he features in Ballerina is due to the fact the film takes place following the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 and before the start of John Wick: Chapter 4.
Now, with the return of the John Wick universe just months away, we’re looking ahead at what we know so far about Ballerina, including the new trailer for Ballerina, and the release date for Ballerina.
Ballerina Trailer
There are now two full-length trailers for Ballerina, both as action-packed as each other, both teasing Keanu Reeves’ appearance as the famed hitman.
What is Ballerina About?
The official synopsis for Ballerina, as per Lionsgate, reads:
Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.
Who Stars in Ballerina?
Cast members for Ballerina include Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves.
