A beloved Pennsylvania pediatrician whose husband allegedly strangled her to death before setting their home on fire had complained of feeling “drugged” in the weeks before her murder, according to a search warrant.

Dr. Julia Pederson, 41, of Harrisburg — whose estranged spouse Jonathan Gatto is accused of setting their house ablaze while their 7-year-old daughter was asleep on Oct. 10  — had told her mother she felt groggy and could barely walk in a message she sent one month before, according to a warrant cited by pennlive.com

In the message, Pederson told her mom she had to cancel five appointments with patients so she could rest up, according to the outlet.

She reportedly had bloodwork planned in order to investigate the strange feeling on Oct.10 — the day she died.

One of Pederson’s co-workers also told investigators that the doctor’s daughter regularly dropped off drinks to her mom at work, the warrant said.

Pederson had told the colleague she didn’t want the drinks – but that her husband would allegedly make her daughter bring them.

Gatto was charged last week with the murder of Pederson.
